Project Lean Six Sigma (Project LSS)
This project presents a unique opportunity to blend and accredit both current and prior experience of professionals operating, leading and managing within the supply chain environment, with a contemporary cutting edge Project Management methodology - Lean Six Sigma.
Project LSS - has been designed by NIRTC and endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management ILM, and is unique in that, it is succinctly focused on individuals who successfully complete the CILT Level 5 Professional Diploma.
Leaders within the business environment recognise Six Sigma as one of the most widely used quality improvement methods available today. Whilst those in manufacturing have experienced the tangible benefits of 'Lean' as a discipline that focuses on process speed and efficiency. Lean Six Sigma facilitates the opportunity to integrate these two cutting edge techniques, and introduce them into manufacturing, Fast Moving Consumer Goods FMCG, and service idustries. This project is designed to answer questions such as:

2. Why are companies using it?
3. What can it do for me?
Lean Six Sigma - has an infrastrucutre which awards belts, based on 'Karate', which facilitates recognition and progressives levels, such as
- Yellow Belt - Introduced to the methodology, and conribute to projects.
- Green Belt - Lead a project, using the methodology.
- Black Belts - Lead project mamangement teams, across a number of
concurrent projects.
Project LSS - is succintly focused on awarding - Green Belt.
